I recently acquired a Big Mouth Brass Helleberg, and it appears to be in Euro shank...

Were these MPs made in both Euro and American shanks, or just one?

You are correct that these are indeed Euro shank. The mouthpieces for those tubas only come in that shank size because those tubas are all using a Euro shank receiver.

I don't know about the mouthpieces, but not all their horns are Euro shank. My J-865 is American shank.
