Hello,
I am a college student in Orlando, Florida. I am looking to buy a tuba. I need a tuba that I can use at least until I graduate in 3 years. I was in a car accident about a year ago and will be getting the settlement check in the mail fairly soon. I would prefer a 5 valve CC tuba with 4 pistons and 1 rotary.
Does anyone have any suggestions about what tuba to buy? Does anyone know someone who is selling a tuba? I really appreciate the help. Thanks!!

I may be interested in selling my Kalison Daryl Smith CC tuba. It is a great 4/4 tuba that has served me well in every type of ensemble, from quintets to large wind ensembles. These horns may have gotten a bad rap, but I like mine better than any MW 2145 or 2155 that I've ever tried. The intonation and sound are great...I really don't need any slide pulling or use of alternate fingerings. It is a beautiful silver horn with a much better price tag, new or used, than many horns on the market. Let me know if you're interested.
