Hello TubeNet,

I have recently (Tuesday) gotten my wisdom teeth removed and I'm looking to get back into playing as soon as I can safely do so. If you have had this procedure done and have any advice, please let me know!

I waited for approximately 2 weeks after both of my procedures. The first week back, I eased back into it, gradually increasing the intensity and length of my practicing. 2 weeks seems like a long time, but it's best to let everything heal up completely from what my dentist advised, and I think he was right. It only took me about a week to be back full speed. In the time off the tuba, I just focused on listening to great music and practicing my electric bass. Best of luck
