Does anybody know anything about the origins of this piece? I found it when I was randomly browsing around the internet and now I'm playing it on March 27 with the oboe teacher and the viola teacher at a Pomona College faculty concert in Claremont, CA. I'd like to be able to put something about it in the program. There doesn't seem to be any information out there, even on the official Nelhybel website.

It's a nice piece. Not as exciting (or difficult) as Ludus, but fun to play. I assume it was written for a specific occasion and specific players. Any info would be appreciated.

Here's a list of Nelhybel trios. Yours is the very last one in the list. Just date of publication and publisher. Maybe contact the publisher? Or music dept. at Scranton
