Yeah, I'm really bummed I didn't know they were going to do it when they recently played at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, MI. I grew up in Michigan , went to U of M and still have family there. Had I known, I would have flown back to hear it.
I don't know where you live but Oregon Symphony is also going to do the piece at the end of April

Great stuff all around. Last movement my favorite. At times very Gershwin, other times not. I think the woodwind and brass players enjoyed it ... maybe the strings not so much LoL
First movement felt somewhat hesitant ... I think it's a bit of nerves and wanting to get everything perfect. I think future performances will be more aggressive

Is it possible to get the solo part (with or without a piano reduction)? Who publishes this?
