Arnold Jacobs’ birthday on June 11

June 11th is the birthday of the legendary Arnold Jacobs – tubaist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for forty-four years and my tuba instructor at Northwestern University. Lessons took place at the Fine Arts Building on Michigan Avenue in the Chicago Loop. Here are the five books published on his life and teaching:
