Central Florida Community Arts (CFCArts) Symphony Orchestra is looking for tuba players. Minimum age is 18, annual dues are $100, financial assistance is available, players must provide own instrument. We are a 160 piece, no-audition group with a repertoire that ranges from Beatles, to Rossini and Copland, to The Planets and The Lord of the Rings. We have several concerts a year regularly playing for over 2,500 patrons at a time. Starting in late July, we will start preparing for our next concert, Classic Rock, at Steinmetz Hall, Dr. Phillips Center in November. All rehearsals are be Sunday 7 – 9 PM. I know it is usually one, but we have like 40 flutes and 25 trumpets, so . . .

Maybe you should start up a wind ensemble separate from the orchestra. Good luck.
