Eastman Tuba Cases?

Post by Triggerfish »

In my search of a case for my PT 15 I have decided to consider the possibility of an Eastman tuba case that they sell with their PT F tuba clones. Does anyone have experience with the cases eastman provides with their instruments? Do you think they could withstand a flight?

When they unveiled the 836 a few years back, they were confident enough with the prototypes in those cases. But they were going right to Dillon Music and could get reasonable repairs done if needed. YMMV

The Eastman cases are very nice! I would trust them as much or more than any other hard case I know of.

I contacted Eastman a week ago seeking to buy a hard case for an 836...they haven't gotten back to me yet. Might be easier to get a dealer to order it for you.

In a different situation, they were quick to respond to a request to find a dealer in the my area though, and what instruments the dealer had.
