Is Meistersinger public domain? We're doing it in the spring and our tuba player, a high school kid, is going to need to see it ahead of time. I already told him to be sure he can play his C scale easily up to E above middle C, but if the part is public domain I'd like to find a copy for him.

I did this a year and a half ago on tuba with a different orchestra, and I think this kid will be able to handle it, but I wanted to let him know what he was going to have to be able to do.
