That 2141 (the one Michael mentioned) was honestly a dog when it comes to intonation. If you get one with a serial number above 3000, supposedly those are much better. I’d like to play one of those newer ones.

I’m still firmly in the camp of using a bass tuba for everything- if I could only have one horn it’d be a big Eb or big F.
