Airline Help

Post by MKTuba »

I am looking at traveling from Michigan to Arizona in may for ITEC 2023. This will be my first time flying at all, and obviously my first time flying with the tuba. I am looking for advice as far as which airlines that run out of Michigan are known to be safe and friendly with instruments. I don't currently own a flight case, but may buy one before then. Otherwise, I will buy an extra seat for the tuba. Thanks folks!

Don’t even bother putting your nice tuba under a plane. Buy a seat for it and save $$/headache in the long run.
