Any Good Chinese Euphonium and Trombone Makers?

Post by Somarithedark »

Does anyone have any good leads with Chinese brass instrument manufacturers? Or, have you had any personal experiences with a Chinese made euphonium or trombone? I played on a Miraphone 186 copy by Dillon for 2 years and it suffered mechanically about halfway into my ownership with it. After getting it worked on, the same problems sprung up quickly again. Let me know if it's better or worse with euphs or bones.

The wessex dolce euph is fantastic. I haven’t tried the Mack, however I’ve heard great things about it.

I owned the wessex dolce for about 2 years and was progressing on it very nicely. I ultimately made the switch to tuba, however I planned on keeping that horn until at least the beginning of my undergrad. Steven Mead played mine and said he enjoyed it, but he also tried to get me to buy a besson in the same sentence so who knows. There were no serious intonation problems with it, and the only mechanical issues were brought on from me dropping the thing.
