Support block for euphonium

Post by Z-Tuba Dude »

I remember seeing an ad for a black support block for your euphonium, to put on your lap.

It had a sort of rubberized exterior, to keep it from slipping, and it was adjustable by removing flat pieces of foam.

Can anyone point me to where to find one of these?

Bill Ricker, who came up with the "Quick Horn Rinse" and "Comfy Hand Strap" also designed this adjustable lap pad for euphonium. It was available on Amazon where a section mate of mine acquired one but they're currently out of stock.

That lap pad does look nice and professional. For myself, I just folded a pillow in half and gaffed some cupboard liner to it. https://i.imgur.com/AEYCTns.jpg

I've seen people use a yoga block also.
