Help! Hallelujah Chorus part needed!

Post by Michael Denney »

In D major. I have the cello part but need the one for tuba. A string bass part in D would do.

Will pay for your trouble. Needed for a performance this coming Sunday Dec 11th so a scanned or digital copy is needed.

Thank you!

The cello part is the bass part (they wouldn't have been different in that age), but here is the part for the score Geoff linked.
Joe K

Miraphone 181 F w/ GW Matanuska/Yamaha John Griffiths
Kalison Daryl Smith w/ Blokepiece (#2 32.6, Orchestra Grand Cup, Symphony American shank)

Thank you. Yes, this is the cello part that I have. Formerly I had both tuba and euphonium parts from an arrangement made long ago for the Goldman Band, and the tuba part was different from the original cello part.

If anyone has a copy of the Goldman Band part, it would be wonderful to have it again.

Going solely on my feeble memory, it looks like the Goldman Band tuba part was simply the lower Bassi line in the accompaniment on the vocal score. Whereas, the euph part was very close to the cello part.

Thanks for the help!
