Thoughts on ZO Thunderbird vs. Eastman 836?
They are different. The ZO is a Nirschl copy and the Eastman is much more like a Yamayork. Both are very good. Apples and oranges. I will say that the ZO 5th partial is the best 5th partial of any CC tuba I´ve ever played and it is a bit low on the Eastman. I have a 2.5-year-old 6/4 ZO Thunderbird in EXCELLENT condition with a custom bag and several very positive modifications that I´m going to announce for sale in the next day or 2.
