Mirafone 54 Rotary Baritone

Post by greatk82 »

I have recently had neck surgery and am having continued left shoulder issues. I think I would be better suited to a rotary euphonium/baritone for the time being. Has anyone played a Mirafone 54 or, more specifically, the one currently at Dillons?

here's the problem with Rotary euphoniums and Baritones. unless you are tiny, you have to hold them up in the air when you play. They are even more awkward to old that traditional euphoniums. Yeah, you could probably get a harness or something, but you an do that with any euphonium.

What about a really light euphonium, like a 3 valve besson compensating?
