I'm buying some new rotor bumper material off McMaster Carr, and saw this stuff https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/129/3984/8767K22.
Any thoughts on how well it might work?
Otherwise it seems like oil-resistant o-ring stock https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/9864K29 or neoprene cord https://www.mcmaster.com/1298N2 will be the move.
The bumper slot measures about 3/16", so buy that size? Or go up to 1/4"?
Anyone ever tried felt for rotor bumpers?

Re: Anyone ever tried felt for rotor bumpers?
I've never messed around with it, but remember hearing of someone who used two different materials for the throw and return bumpers.
I think cork for the throw (so no bounce) and neoprene for the return (because maybe the bounce is helpful somehow?)
I guess felt would work, but I'm thinking it wouldhave to be so thiick it would compress and degrade too quickly.
Just general thoughts. I didn't click your links!:P
