Hey everyone,
I'm looking at purchasing a CC tuba soon, and my preferences are between a 1293 or a 291 Bruckner. Having owned and played other brands of tubas, I'm looking to stick primarily with a Miraphone. I've had the chance to play test both models, but am looking for advice from those that have owned or have extensive playing experience on both horns.
If you have thoughts, please feel free to chime in.

I owned a 1293 for a little over a year. Excellent instruments. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose it over a 291 again. Bigger sound, better low register.

1293 is a great tuba. A studio mate owned one, and sounded fantastic on it. Great low end.
