What lengths have you gone to to make sure you're buying from an honest seller? Are Escrow services a good idea even for relatively inexpensive items?

What action can you take against a dodgy seller where you suspect foul-play?

Sorry for the many Q's. Just wondering...

There's nothing like picking up the phone and giving the prospective seller a call. In the case of auctions... the feedback system seems to work rather well.
