Places to listen to traditional music with tuba in Salzburg/Munich

Heading to Salzburg and Munich in about a month for a quick trip. Other than the Hofbrauhaus in Munich, any suggestions on good places to enjoy a beer and listen to some traditional bands (hopefully with a tuba). I've been looking at some of the bands I enjoy listening to at Woodstock der Blasmusik but I don't see any of them performing- maybe taking a break after Octoberfest?
Any other tuba related suggestions in the area would also be appreciated!
