What Should I bring to NYC TubaChristmas?
So I'm grappling with which tuba I want to bring to the 50th anniversary NYC TubaChristmas. I'm sure it's going to be very noisy, cold, and crowded and that, whatever I bring, there's a good chance I'll be coming home with more dents than I came with haha. Thoughts?

I'd avoid the serpent; it might look cool, but no one will hear it. Sousaphone and Frankens just seem like too much to deal with lugging around the city. I'd go with, in this order, Plastic-o-phone, Eb, CB-50.

I get your point about the serpent, but I'll counter by saying I won't be heard by ANY instrument I bring haha
