Anonymous high end F tuba (large photos)

Our fellow board member and my very good friend, Sven Bring of Stockholm, has been given an old, damaged, F tuba with 3 rotary valves.
Sven suspected it to be Swedish made, whereas I rather thought it to be a pre-WWI instrument from Saxony. I see similarities between the leadpipe stay and the thumbring baseplate and more modern B&S instruments.
The valve system could have been bought from Cerveny, which I don't see as an unusual trade pattern for the older days between two German spoken countries.
I am especially impressed by the cutting of the bottom bow guard. The triangular cuts make the hammering much easier without creating stress and folds.
I haven't investigated all my sources yet, as I just have gotten my work computer up and running again. However Sven and I are interested in presenting this beauty to the TubeNet.
Sven may refer some of our bilingual discussions, where English isn't involved. The photos are from Sven’s server. My hastily aging eyes love their large size.
