Tuba stand problems - after reading this board and others, the Baltimore Brass tuba stand seems like the gold standard. My Hercules stand was ok but the plastic nut which keeps the stand up has cracked significantly. (See photo - it doesnt work any more)
I emailed asking for a replacement part and was told it would be 90-180 days for a replacement knob and yellow plastic nut.
I’d have already purchased a Baltimore Brass stand if it was in stock, but it doesn’t look good for it to come back any time soon .
Anyone have any suggestions? I’m not real happy with Hercules Stands right now and i need something good soon. Thanks!
Does anyone have a 3-D printable file?

Re: Tuba stand advice
Hey Jake!
We're working on the BBC Stands now. Currently waiting on our parts to finish up on the beautiful eastern shore of MD, and then we'll be making a bunch of them, hopefully by end of February! We've got quite the long waitlist, but I can put (and anyone else) on it.
Thanks!
