Hello tuba collective, In my music history class we were all given the option to choose what to write our term papers on. I chose the history of the tuba. With that I ask for your help, do you have any recommendations on books, articles, papers, or websites that might help me in this project? I would also love any just fun little personal stories you have about the history of the tuba. Notable people, places and events. all information is helpful and useful!
Much thanks

Re: Tuba History Project
This is a great question for a librarian at your college's music library (or the fine arts subject area specialist if your school doesn't have a dedicated music library). That is their job! They will be able to show you resources that your school has, online articles, journals and periodicals, etc. If you need a starting point, I would start with Clifford Bevan's "The Tuba Family."
Sincerely,
An academic librarian
