I received my copy of Soliloquies and am amazed. Fantastic Album. There are several albums out there that dazzle me with talent (as Soliloquies does). I enjoy them for analyzing playing techniques-phrasing, breathing, etc. They become reference sources. Soliloquies takes it to the next step where there is communication. John Stevens' title work, Soliloquies, and Patrick Schultz's Constellation both show the thought and feeling that should be a part of great music.
Definitely get this and enjoy.
(As a side note, Demondrae performed the first movement of Concerto for Euphonium and Wind Ensemble -Track 1- at the midwest regional ITEA last February in Bloomington, IL. I sat behind four young ladies who simply melted from his performance. Dangest thing I ever saw.)
