U.S. Army Band TEW 2025 - Who's Going?

The U.S. Army Band, Pershing's Own, is once again hosting the annual Tuba-Euphonium Workshop January 29-Feb1st.
My understanding is that Brucker Hall, the Band's home, and the Ft. Myer Community Center have been repaired from
roof damage, so the workshop can proceed where it normally occurs. Last year was pretty challenging, with the two
buildings closed for repairs, and the performance/master class venue and the exhibits in temporary areas.
Lee Stofer Music is actively preparing to exhibit, and will be joined by Torpedo/Cronkhite Bags, represented by President
Steve Kreisel and Sales Manager Jen Burleigh-Bentz. We are planning to have a good selection of Cronkhite tuba and euphonium
bags there, as well Cronkhite and Torpedo bags for other instruments.
One table at the booth will be a dedicated measuring table, and you are invited to bring your instrument to be measured,
whether you buy a bag or not. Sales manager Jen and I are on a mission to improve their fitment guide, and if you care to
have your instrument measured and evaluated, you can help with this process. This is an excellent opportunity to directly
communicate with the maker, and see their product line in person.
I'm looking forward to seeing longtime friends and meeting new ones!
