TubeNet

I recently got a TrumCor Stealth practice mute for my Cerveny Piggy. Volume is much reduced, as expected, but I have trouble getting notes to speak and can hardly get notes below the staff to speak at all. Any thoughts as to how I might fix this? I thought about putting some shims on the mute so that there'a a little more clearance in the bell, but I haven't tried that yet.
