I saw this on their website? I thought that only Custom could sell PT's? It says that it is new.

Any ideas?

I certainly hope so. Then again, isn't the PT-3, like the PT-4, being phased out in favor of the PT-20? That would make this liquidation stock, and that's a whole 'nuther kettle of fish!

The picture on the main page of that is wrong, but if you hit the "click to zoom" link, you'll see a PT-3 rotor.

Speaking of them selling PTs, did anyone else notice that they don't seem to be selling Rudy Meinl anymore?

I think that they have been phasing out Rudi Meinls for a while now, but what I find disturbing, is that their inventory appears to be shrinking!
Under C tubas, they list only two models of Meinl Weston horns: the 32 & 2165 (the 2165 also happens to be a USED horn!). No sign of VMI, either.
Only 4 F tuba models. No Yamaha.
4 NEW Eb tuba models - No Bessons!
I sure hope that this is not a trend.....
According to his voice mail...

I just called over to Roger and got the message that he will be out of the office and unavailable until Tuesday October 18th. I wouldn't expect an immediate response under the circumstances.
In regards to listings on the web site, I called him when it appeared that the Denis Wick euphonium mutes were no longer available. At the time Roger told me that there were some listing errors when the web site switched over to its new format. Given that I'm an Eb/BBb amateur, I always check for Miraphone 191s. Currently there are none listed, though I'd really be surprised if WWBW stopped selling that one.
My hunch is that the tubas, mutes, euphoniums are still in inventory and on order, but the web site software simply isn't seeing it.
Best case is to wait until after next Tuesday and give Roger a call.

To find the "missing" tubas, go to the header on the opening page and click on "Custom Select".

Has anyone who has been to their showroom lately noticed a drop in the number of tubas that one can try out there? Also did they move their showroom with their warehouse move?
Thanks

Last time I was there (Aug.) there was only one Eb in the tuba room.
