Any alternative to Glyoxide?

As a result of dental work a few days ago some minor wounds are interfering with my preparations for a big concert next Saturday. The program includes lots of marches and I am the total euphonium section for the day, so I have to get healed. My old standby Glyoxide, a type of peroxide, is helping the wounds heal, but not fast enough. Is there anything better out there?

What my wife uses after her perio work is a mouthwash of 0.12% Chlorhexidine Gluconate. I borrowed some when I was recovering from a particularly vicious round of canker sores and was impressed with the rate of healing, so I got my dentist to prescribe some for me.
Note that this stuff is not for day-to-day use because it will slowly stain your teeth and can actually increase your susceptibility to caries.
