Shipping a horn via Greyhound (update from previous comment)

Post by Dan Schultz »

Hey guys... In an earlier thread I commented that I thought Greyhound had changed their liabillity limits so additional insurance over their normal $300 limit could be purchased. The $300 liability limit still applies and additional insurance can be purchased DEPENDING ON WHAT ZONE the shipment is going to. Greyhound has always done a very good job for me but before trekking down to the terminal with your package you might want to give them a call for a quote.

Thanks for the clarification. I was about to question the policy, since I was not allowed to purchase additional insurance the last time I shipped a tuba through them.

Personally, I have had no problems with shipping through them, but I would like to be able to buy more insurance.
