Shipping a Willson tuba to USA

Does anyone know if I will have a problem (like, deny entry) at U.S. Customs sending a used (if it matters) Willson tuba to the U.S.?

I heard you can't do that with Hirsbrunner tubas because Custom Music has exclusive dealership.

After entering the tracking #, FedEx website shows that my tuba is now in
Anchorage, AK, and the current status is "clearance delay." I know it's probably too late to post this, now that the tuba is on its way, but I greatly appreciate any insight on this situation.

Thanks,
Chen

Reminds me of the band´s field trip to Israel 1993. EVERYTHING was thorougly searched, and the customs officers had us play the instruments to make sure nothing was stuffed inside. We successfully lightened up the tense situation by spontaneously playing "Introducing the band" which most of us had memorized.
The staff seemed to really enjoy this, and went about their business in a much nicer way afterwards. :P 8)

This is late, but I remember getting my tuba sent to various foreign countries with the jobs I have had in different countries. The United States is very good about seeing that stuff that should get through gets through, not like some developing countries, where the hired staff tries to get some extra cigarette money by delaying your shipment.
