Old Bach Strad trumpet

Sean, delete this post if it is not appropriate---it is regarding a very old trumpet. The interests and knowledge of several instrument experts on this board is extensive: thus, I thought they might give perspective on the following:
A friend (78 years old) has a Bach Stradivarius Bb trumpet with a serial number of 526 which would date the thing to the very early days of Vincent Bach's production, perhaps 1927 (?). The horn is in pretty good condition and everything is original except the leadpipe. The valves do not leak. There are two small patches on the bell area next to the valve block. The lacquer seems to be original but is specked.
Any expert out there want to give a ball park estimate of the value of this trumpet?
