what are the pros and cons of Rochut vs. Bordogni? I've always used Bordogni but have wondered...

Get the Rochut. As long as you can read down an octave easily (which you'll be able to do after you work on a couple of them anyway), it's the same thing and you have a lot more of them to work on.

Bordogni and Blazhevich are great choices both. They are quite techical both and lyrical too. I think that the Bordogni is a great quide for phrasing and breathing. Blazhevitch is good counter balance for Bordogni, because you have deal with tounguing than in Bordogni studies.
