So the news is finally out. I was thrilled to hear it when Lee told me of his plans a few weeks ago. This is indeed great news for us midwesterners. Even more so given the uncertain status of The Brass Bow in Arlington Heights since Mr. Tanabe's departure to New York and his new gig with Yamaha. Good brass repair and restoration pros are hard to come by anwhere these days.

I hope nobody told Lee about Iowa winters. Let's keep that a sccret amongst us.

I've already put in a reservation to get the Bayreuth serviced that I bought from Lee last year. I'm sure he will do very, very well here in the Midwest/Plains, though he will be missed in the South.

Could you elaborate on the Brass Bow? I was unaware that Wayne was gone and that the status of the shop had changed. They have done excellent work for me over the last 20 years.
