Eb tuba fingering chart

I am looking for a four valve Eb tuba fingering chart. The one posted on this site does not print correctly. All the other charts I have seen are for 3 valve horns.

Wouldn't it be pretty easy to just take the three-valve one and figure things out from there? A lot of the lower notes have lots of possiblities of combinations anyway, so it'll vary from horn to horn.

Try changing your printer settings to 'landscape'. It printed out fine for me.

Not a bad suggestion!
4 valve Eb tubas come in at least 2 variants: compensated and non-compensated. The former variant is the one served by the chart in the Tips’ section. The second variant probably is the most common, at least outside the UK.
When teaching brass I of course taught the students the fingerings for the notes. But as soon as they understood the basics of music, I tried to make them understand the system behind the choice of the proper fingering.
Bloke may make fun of Eb tubists and their fingerings. But after all he has made himself a dime or two playing circular Eb’s.
Of course he is at a level, where he can bend just about any note as much, as he wants to.
But then he also has been around for so long, that he intuitively finds the proper fingering. Achieving that level has taken some scale practising.
