SEVENTEENTH ANNUAL FORT WORTH MERRY TUBACHRISTMAS CONCERT

Over 175 area tuba and euphonium players will present the seventeenth annual Fort Worth Merry TUBACHRISTMAS concert on Thursday, December 22. The performance will take place outdoors under the canopy at the north end of the Fort Worth Convention Center (intersection of Main and 9th Streets), downtown Fort Worth at 12:00 noon. This year’s guest conductor will be Douglas Stotter, Director of Bands at the University of Texas at Arlington. Master of ceremonies will be local media personality Alex Burton.

The concert, free of charge and open to the public, is presented by the D-FW area chapter of the International Tuba and Euphonium Association (I.T.E.A.) and the Harvey Phillips Foundation. Local sponsorship and assistance is provided by “Harmon and Heywoodâ€
