Yes, but so does any consignment vendor. It's the price of doing business if you do not sell it yourself, then you have the expense of advertising if you do sell it yourself, so it's whatever you think is the most reasonable expense for the widest potential buyer base.

For a quick sale, an online auction would provide the widest audience, and many bidders holding extra holiday cash. Add value to your horn by selling the sizzle--not the steak. Write a very helpful, informational ad, along with some great digital photos.
Also, auction trading assistants, with lots of good feedback, will do the selling for you. They would be worth their fees, especially if a one-time-only, quick sale is needed by a zero or low-feedback seller.
