I found this stuff at the Homey Depot. It is pretty good for removing old dried-up tape adhesive, and is excellent for removing old dried-up lubricants from tuning slides. It is also very good for softening and removing "lime" deposits from piston valves. It does not attack lacquer or anything else that I know of, such as plastic valve guides. The label does not list ingredients; maybe it is just lemon pledge in a new bottle. Any comments? -What do the rest of you use?

I've done some cleaning with Kaboom when hacking around on my wonder euph from India. It did a decent job of cutting through tarnish and crud.
