With tuba mouthpieces so expensive, it can be risky to experiment without getting some criteria:
1) What is your tuba, and how would you characterize its sound (dark, bright, intonates well/poorly, etc.)?
2) What music or musical setting do you use it mostly for?
3) Which Dillon model do you use, why did you decide on it previously, and what do you like/dislike about it (diameter/depth/profile of cup, size/profile of rim, takes a lot of air, would like to put more air through the horn, etc)?
4) Why change (want different tone, different or more range, playing situation changed, physical circumstance/need to change etc, or why do you feel you need to change, or are you just experimenting to see what else is out there?
5) Any other comments you would care to add?

Ohhhhhhh no. Josef Klier Tuba Mouthpieces @ Dillon Music? An assortment of $59 mouthpieces? Many with the same diameter as my current mouthpiece? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh no. I will have to give my wife my credit card. <Wife Walked In> She told me to stick to one mouthpiece. She's probably right.
