how do you know the mouthpiece is causing your horn to be flat...i have never heard of this...i play a MW2145 and use a Conn Helleberg and my intonation issues are to specific notes and not general...

not a prob...glad to try and help...something i forgot to mention is to create a intonation map...so just sit down with a tuner and go through all the notes of each partial and just find where everything sits...for example i know the my D and Db are always sharp...sometimes you just have find ways to compensate for that...good luck

I'm going to post on this 8 year old topic.
My MW2145 is sharp with my E natural and C#...There for I pull the heck out with my 1st tuning slide while I play E...I also play c# 123 (Instead of 2&4) and pull out the same slide.

Hello!
Try Solo Arnold Jacobs, as I had MW2145 I used it and it worked quite well, another suggestion is the Laskey 28H.

Laskey 30g works well for some..
