Depends on who you ask

Just like with any make or model, there are some people who love 'em and some who hate 'em. Some of the earlier ones from the 1980's were put together pretty badly, and were pieces of junk like the ones at my old alma mater. A few newer (made after around 1998 or so) ones owned by some friends of mine turned out to be pretty decent horns.

Last year, the Kalison family decided they couldn't economically carry on, and closed the business. BUT, Walter Nirschl came along and bought out the company.
