Weril distribution changes

OK, no one else has said anything about this here, so...
I visited the Deg Music site to look for some specs and noticed the absence of the Weril logo. Curiosity aroused, I called Deg and learned that, effective January 1, 2006, they are no longer distributor for Weril products.
Turns out the Weril has decided to distribute directly to US and Canadian dealers through a recently formed North American sales operation run by Mr. Allan Ash, who is based in Toronto, CA. Plans are to open a distribution center somewhere in Florida. There are some press releases on the Weril.com US web page. Weril states that it wants to have closer relationships with its dealers.
I was told that DEG still has some Weril tubas and baritones. Among them are a J680 CC version, and a one of the 4/4 sizes 980 tubas (don't recall the specific model numbers).
Interested parties should contact their Weril dealers. I know that Dave Fedderly, Joe "Bloke" Sellmansberger, Lee Stofer, and Steve Ferguson handle this brand.
