Depending on where you are going, and who is on the panel... you may want to consider backing out of the competition. If the panel consists of people you know and/or people who decide your fate at your particular school, a poor performance may put you in a bad light (and it may come back to bite you in the future).

I imply from your post that it must be memorized. Do you have to make the audition from memory? If you do decide to go through with this (which I wouldn't recommend, considering your relevations, but you don't mention your year in school, who's listening, etc.) we feel your pain!

tuba_iowa wrote:Paul, I don't really see a question on your post. So really whats your question? If you're trying to let everyone know how good you are then who cares. Your wasting people's time by putting up this dumb post. Okay now I feel much better. Have a great day and next time learn the music ahead of time. DUH!!
And normally Tubenet is a completely effective use of your time? Every thread about mouthpieces being different from person to person helps you grow as a musician and as a human being? I understand this thread isn't particularly useful, but why take it so seriously and take MORE time out of your day to be a jerk?

if you dont care so much then why take the time to post back so rudely. Maybe he was posting to get some reassurance not to boost himself. Either way you dont have to be a jerk. Your tired of reading pointless posts and Im tired of reading replys where people are freakin' idiots just because they dont like something. Go practice or do something productive with your time.

If you kids don't settle down, I will turn this car around and woe be to the one who says one word until we get there.

If you really hate these posts this much, why do you continue to waste your time and effort by reading and responding in this thread? In my opinion, the only dumb posts here are yours.

I sense that tuba_Iowa is one of those young high school kids who's parents bought him a computer and he thinks that it is fun to have fun when actually all he is doing is smearing his name for future posts because everyone will think he is an idiot when there is no doubt in my mind that he really in essence is the 3rd chair tuba player in his H.S. band. Maybe he should apologize, post his real name and let us forgive him before we ignore him.

The Pokémon Snap forums may be more open to this kind of thing, man. You might want to head back.
