Good Mouthpieces for Rotary Neptune

Hello
I thought I might tap upon the knowledge of tubenet with regards to a good mouthpiece fit for a rotary Neptune. I have been playing a Laskey 30H. Although this mouthpiece works, I feel that the low end is a bit labour intensive.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You might consider an LM-10. It works well for most large rotary tubas I've played.

Call me crazy, but I always found, for me, the bigger the horn the more I got out of it with a smaller MP. Any number could work, but I would go to a Helleberg or even a 7B and move up. You may be surprised.

When I used to have a rotary Neptune, a Yamaha Jim Self livened up the horn like no other piece I tried (and that was quite a few including the Laskeys...).
Everything about it was great with the Self. Now, why DID I sell the horn...?
THANKS

I'd second the LM-10. I used one on a Mirafone 190 CC, and now use one on a rotary Willson 3050. Charlie's description of a drilled-out C4 might put you somewhere in the ballpark of an LM-10. Perhaps a bit much on a small horn, but on the Neptune, it might help heat up the sound. It's really quick down low, but without sacrificing the high range.
Joe's got a two-week return policy, so it might be worth taking a shot.
