Please read this article in the January 18 Charleston Post and Courier. This is a very disappointing situation to have to report.

Boards often seem to want to play hardball, because musicians are not perceived as having any "business sense". We had to play in Wilmington once for over a year once without a contract, and then when the board started to make similar noises we had Federal Mediation.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
