Cassie,

Just a quick thought. Torstein Aagard-Nielsen has quite a few works for unaccompanied euphonium that Steve Mead has commissioned. They all are "out-there" pieces, and are quite difficult. I believe that the Four Lyric Pieces were on the Artist-Level Falcone repertoire last year. Here are some of the pieces:

Four Lyric Pieces
Black Rain
Two Insects

I hope this helps you. Playing this new and different repertoire is a great way to challenge yourself. I recently performed the Four Dialogues for Euphonium and Marimba by Samuel Adler, another piece that will stretch you further than you think you can go. Best of luck.

I have played Aargaard-Nilsen's Four Lyric Pieces and I'm working on Two Insects. The Lyric Pieces should be right up your alley if you're looking for atonal and flutter tonguing.

Some other unaccompanied pieces -

Sonata for Unaccompanied Euphonium or Trombone - Fred Clinard
Blue Lake Fantasies - David Gillingham
Soliloquies - John Stevens
Soliloquy IX - Christopher Wiggins
Four Short Narratives - Neal Corwell
Constellations - Patrick Schulz
