The high end accent horns are made in Germany, VMI I think...
the cheap student trombones and trumpets, Taiwan, same factory as Steinway Corp "Directors".

It's my understanding that the tubas and euphoniums are made by B&S. I tried out an accent euph that had "Gerhard Schneider" engraved on the bell. Schneider, I believe, is a stencil of B&S.
I only played the horn for a few minutes, but I would agree that the metal didn't seem sturdy. It was decent, but I think I would prefer the YEP321. The intonation on the accent was quirkier (the e-flat and d on the staff were close to a quarter tone flat), and I found the sound to be rather small.
