Whats the difference between the normal Helleberg Mouthpieces and the Jet Tone Heavy mouthpieces ? I mean in sound ? More fundamentals in tone, or overtones?

Thanks for any answer!

The heavywall makes a much louder noise and deeper dent if you drop it on your horn, like I did.

I understand that Suzzane Somers is considering adding heavyweight MP's to her Thigh Master rountine and may even include one in her Thigh Master kits. Watch QVC for upcoming information. It should be on after Estaban's "Even a blind, deaf, and dumb person can learn to play the guitar badly if they shell out a bunch of money for a POS guitar, amp, books, and DVD by me" presentation.

Chuck"who saw Esteban in Scottsdale and was asked to leave because he was heckling him to play 'Freebird'" Jackson

The main thing that was different that I observed was the inside rim. The Conn Helleburg rim is very flat and has a sharp inner edge. The Jet Tone Heavywall has a rim that is slightly more rounded on the inner edge. I had a Jet Tone Heavywall for a while, and didn't detect 'much' change in the actual sound, however I didn't like that difference in the inside of the rim; so I sold it and am still using my Conn Helleburg.

I would be open to finding a mouthpiece that has exactly the same flat rim diameter and sharp inner edge)and inside diameter as the Conn Helleburg, but the interior would be smaller going down the funnel (just a smaller cup). I tried a Doug Elliott combination, but the rim that says it's a copy of the Conn Helleburg rim is slightly rounded on the inside and reminded me of the Jet Tone, so back it went...

Note that you have to decide which Conn Helleberg. See this thread for pictures and discussion. If someone says their rim is like a Helleberg, they're probaby telling the truth, it's exactly like some Helleberg.
