I believe the same thing is true of the 188 vs. the 186 CC, which makes me wonder if the 188 is the CC version of the 187? (and if so, why two different model numbers?)schlepporello wrote:... Seems like the low end should be easier on the 187 (and 188) than on the 186 (all else being equal).tjrck wrote:So what does that do for the horn?That's exactly the case, the 187 is the BBb version of the 188. The tubing where the water key is is shaped identically on the 187 and 188.Does it make it harder to play low...but worth it for the sound?
