International Euphonium Institute 2006 Artists Finalized

I just wanted to let everyone know the final listing of artists for the International Euphonium Instiute 2006 from June 11-18, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia.

I know many Tubenet members have attended and hope they comment about the quality of the program. Special attention will be given to the repertoire being featured an many competitions following the IEI (Potomac, ITEC, Falcone).

Thomas Gibson - Director of Brass, Georgia State University
Charae Kruger - Principal Cellist, Atlanta Opera Orchestra
Mike Moore - Principal Tuba, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Phive Brass Quintet - Atlanta based group featured on Adam Frey’s Recital
Richard Prior – Director of Orchestral Studies, Emory University
The Georgia Brass Band - Performing at the Opening Concert with Tormod Flaten
The Band of the US Air Force Reserve - Performing at the Closing Gala Concert

Scholarship and Pre-Registration deadline is Feb. 28, 2006. You can of course register after this time, but you miss out on a good discount and having the private lesson teacher and master classes that you prefer as the limited slots are assigned based on the application date. Payment schedules are avaialble.
